Murphito

Muddle: a strawberry, about 5 leaves of mint, ½ cubed lime. 

Shake 3 oz vodka, 1oz simple syrup or dem, ½ oz Chambord. 

Add ice to muddled ingredients, pour mixture, stir carefully. 

Top off with soda (optional)

2 oz dark rum (Goslings)
3/4 oz spicy syrup (recipe)
1/2 lime

Shake with ice
pour together into a collins glass
top off with soda water

variation: use spicy ginger beer in place of the syrup

1/4 grapefruit
1 1/2 limes
3 oz light rum (flor de Cana)
3/4 oz Maraschino liquor (Luxardo)
Optional: 3/4 oz simple syrup

Juice the limes and grapefruit
shake with ice
strain into a martini glass

1/2 lime cut in 6ths
5 mint leaves
2 oz light rum (Flor de Cana)
3/4 oz demerara or simple syrup

Muddle the lime wedges and demerara
“SMACK” the mint hard and press into the mixture with the muddler
Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice
Pour all together into a collins glass and top off with soda water

Cardamom
Cinnamon Bark
Vanilla bean
Maple syrup
Light Rum

Infuse for 5 days in a cool dry place
Shake the bottle each day
Press out to finish

2 oz spiced rum (see recipe)
2 small oranges or 2 oz sweet orange juice
1/2 oz demerara
Grenadine

Shake all ingredients with ice except the grenadine
Pour over ice into a highball glass
float the grenadine on top around the edges so it appears as blood
streaks

2 oz fancy rum (Zaya *****)
1 oz sweet vermouth high end (Carpano)
2 dashes of agastura bitters
1 tsp- 1.5tsp cherry syrup

Served neat or on the rocks
